These are questions that all parents should be asking and engaging in.  Join us as we take a journey on understanding what the Word says regarding these things as well as hearing the experience from our hosts and guest speakers.

In the Podcast Pastor Mike shared some insights to helping you set the example to your kids. a small extraction from the Podcast he says:

The earlier you start set Godly patterns as a parent (Especially for Fathers) the easier it will be when they are in their teens. It will still be messy and difficult. No family, mother or father, does it perfectly. There are good days and bad days when it comes to leading in the home spiritually.

7 simple ways of leading your family:
  1.  Pray with them - Pray together at dinner or before bed. Then sending them prayers via text messages, or handwritten notes that include a prayer.
  2. Ask them to serve with you at church or in the community - Take them along with you. Don’t leave them at home, they will see your involvement and experience the blessing of serving others.
  3. Read Scripture with them - You might have to set a designated time for this, even if you have to put it on your phone calendar.
  4. Worship with them - Find some worship songs to play for them or send to them to listen to.
  5. Fathers, love your wife in front of them - Cherish her, speak kindly of her in front of the children. Let them see your love.
  6. Spend time alone with them individually - Take them out separately for conversation on dates, games, walks etc. Ensure you listen when they speak and give them undivided attention. Make them feel special.
  7. Remain accountable to other fathers/men for caring for your family

Great podcast. Loved the special guests. It had many things families need to hear about raising kids with Jesus in the center.
