In the Podcast Pastors Mike and Matthew shared some keys to strengthening your prayer life Just a few points from the podcast are listed here:

simple ways of leading your family:
  1. Be consistent in prayer. Pray without ceasing.
  2. Honor God in our prayers, make sure we put Him first and understand who we are talking to.
  3. Be thankful in our prayer. Come to Him with a heart of gratitude.
  4. Be specific in your prayers. Even when God knows what you need, He calls you to come to Him with your needs.
  5. Remember community! Pray with others and for others.
  6. Speak out scripture. Let God’s very words permeate your prayers.

Pastor Mike shares some wisdom when he speaks about the value of memorizing scripture in that: "Memorizing scripture isn't about legalism or earning God's favor, It's about growing in our relationship with Him"
And Pastor Matthew then shares that "Memorizing scripture helps to renew our thoughts, clears us of the things of the world that cloud our thinking, refocuses us back to Jesus and His love for us"
Luke 6:45 says: “the Mouth speaks what the heart is full of”.

We pray that this will encourage you and stir your heart to a better prayer life and one in which you seek Him through prayer and through His Word!
