In the Podcast we learn that Apologetics is not some big scholarly gifting that is only reserved for evangelists.
Although we are not all gifted in evangelism, we are all called to follow the leading of Christ and the great commission He set before us. We do this in a simple, conversational way.
  • We start by sharing truth with love and compassion
  • We need to be be intentional about being attentive and listening
  • When the conversation is friendly and meaningful, it takes our conversation further and opens up more opportunities for questions. This will also counter argumentation and confrontation.

4 Simple ways of having these conversations:
  1. Cultivate a heart of love and compassion towards others, even outside your friendship circles and outside the Christian Faith.
  2. Secondly, be intentional about studying and growing in your faith. It’s important to continue to read the Word and spend time with God, as you grow in your relationship with Him, you will experience an outpouring that can encourage and be an example to others.
  3. Thirdly, familiarize yourselves with common questions or objections people may raise.
  4. And last but definitely not least. Be intentional about living out your faith daily. “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
